Welcome to A Killer Disco Party!

Donna Dynamite, The Queen of Disco, was found dead in her own recording studio, and every paper in the country has already printed it. For as long as anyone can remember, she decided who got introduced to whom, whose record got played twice, and who stood by the door all night.

Tonight the whole scene crams into Club Chrome City for The Boogie Ball, wearing more sequins than is strictly legal. It is the one night of the year when the contracts, the tours, the magazine covers and the people who hand them out all share a single room, and the first one without her.

And word is The Black Book is somewhere in the building: the ledger of who paid for a place on the chart, and whose record got quietly buried. Whoever walks out holding it owns this scene. Half the room is written in it. The other half would love to know who is.

So the smiles are wide, the music is loud, and underneath all of it the room is quietly taking itself apart…

Before the lights come up, three of these guests will be dead, and the one who killed them is right there on the floor, glittering, dancing, and having an absolutely wonderful time.

The mirror ball is turning, the platforms are buckled on, and every contract, tour and magazine cover in this business is in this one room, along with the people who hand them out. Anybody who misses this party spends the rest of the year fighting over scraps.

But one face is missing from the floor. Donna Dynamite, The Queen of Disco, is dead, and for the first time anyone can remember, nobody is standing in the middle of this room telling the rest of you where to stand.

HOW THE GAME WORKS

The game is a Freeplay mingle-style murder mystery, which means each guest is assigned a unique character. You’ll send out a Character Guide to every player, filled with secrets, objectives, and relationships that drive the drama.

As the night unfolds, guests mingle in character, ask questions, share clues or lies, and try to solve the 3 unfolding murders that happen during the game. At the end, everyone casts their vote for who they think the killer is, right before the dramatic final reveal.

There are no strict scripts to follow and no complex rules, so even first-timers can jump right in!
As the host, you don’t need to memorize anything or stay behind the scenes. My easy-to-follow Host Guide walks you through everything step by step. And yes, you can play along without knowing who the killer is. Or peek at the included spoilers if that’s your jam. The killer is a secret to everyone, even the killer themselves. That is what keeps the whole night spoiler-free.
