Tonight, we transport ourselves back to the dazzling decade of the 1970s, an era of bell-bottoms, boogie
nights, and unforgettable hits.

As the music blazes and the strobe lights flash, let us step into the shoes of those who sought fame and fortune in this glamorous world of disco.
But… Amidst all the glitz and glamour, a darker story unfolds – a tale of rivalry, ambition, and ultimately – murder.

For some of you, tonight is a chance to bask in the spotlight, to make new connections, and dance the night away. For others, it’s a stage to settle old scores, or perhaps to climb higher on the ladder of success.

As you all know, our beloved star Donna Dynamite was killed not too long ago, and the murderer is still out there – or to be more accurate: In here, at this party tonight.

With that being said, at the end of the night, three more of you will be dead.

I hosted a murder mystery party this past weekend, and my friends LOVED the game! A lot of them also mentioned they liked the idea that even the murderer does not know their identity because it helped avoid the “stress” of lying and helped them focus more on getting into character. The expansion pack is also helpful because it offers more characters (like the detective), and example scripts for each character. This was helpful for friends who were unsure of what they could say after each murder. There are plenty of gender-neutral characters as well to fit your group and accommodate more people! Would definitely buy again! :)

Everyone had a blast playing this! The directions were wrote out well and even if we had to steer off course it worked out. People we thought wouldn’t get into their characters did. So fun!

Easy to follow thorough directions. We use this for a teen Girl Scout event with some modifications to some of the storylines and everyone loved it.

This was my first time hosting a murder mystery party and it was everything I’d hoped for! This was very easy to navigate through. My guests had such a great time! We were able to figure out the murderer. I’d definitely recommend.

HOW THE GAME WORKS

The game is a Freeplay (mingle-style) murder mystery, which means each guest is assigned a unique character. You’ll send out a Character Guide to every player, filled with secrets, objectives, and relationships that drive the drama.

As the night unfolds, guests mingle in character, ask questions, share clues (or lies!), and try to solve the 3 unfolding murders that happen during the game. At the end, everyone casts their vote for who they think the killer is – right before the dramatic final reveal.

There are no strict scripts to follow and no complex rules, so even first-timers can jump right in!
As the host, you don’t need to memorize anything or stay behind the scenes. My easy-to-follow Host Guide walks you through everything step by step. And yes – you can absolutely play along without knowing who the killer is (or peek at the included spoilers if that’s your jam). The killer is a secret to everyone – even the killer themselves – for a truly immersive, spoiler-free experience.
