What every MortalCase game gives you
Every game on this page is built on the same foundation, so you always know what you are getting. Each one has 20 characters: 8 Primary Characters that carry the story and the 3 murders, and 12 Secondary Characters you cast as your guest list allows. Everyone gets a private Character Guide with a biography, things to share, secrets to hide, relationships and a secret task of their own.
The Essential Game Kit holds the complete mystery. Host guidance, invitations, pre-party story material, evidence, Action Cards, Evidence Logs, Ghost Cards, voting material and the spoiler-protected ending are all in it. You print it, hand it out, and the evening runs itself.
And yes – you can host and play at the same time, without knowing who the killer is. That is the question I get more than any other, and every game here is designed around it.
How to pick one
Start with the theme your guests will enjoy dressing up for. That is the part they will remember. The mystery underneath is just as strong in all of them, so there is no wrong choice – a 1920s speakeasy, a casino floor, a masquerade, a Christmas dinner, a disco or an 80s arcade all play the same way.
