GET READY TO HOST A KILLER PARTY
… and get away with it!

And yes! You can easily host this game even if you have never done it before!

Nobody came just for the Christmas cake…

This funny, highly interactive Christmas-themed murder mystery party game for adults is an evidence-based, multiple murder mingling game for 8 to 20 players that you can play right at home!

Welcome to ELF STRIKE

Mrs. Claus, the baker of The Reindeer Cookies and the one voice both sides of the strike trusted, was killed in her own kitchen… and nobody has been caught.

Tonight The Workshop opens for The Strike Party. Elves and reindeer who walked off the job are squeezing in beside the bosses, glittery candy-cane signs still in hand, while the sleigh sits cold in the snow.

They are here for a deal. Only a deal opens The Workshop Vault, and only The Workshop Vault holds The Reindeer Cookies that make the reindeer fly on Christmas Eve. No deal, no Christmas.

Three of tonight’s partygoers will not live to see it signed.

All 20 Characters have a motive. Only one has already killed for it, and is nowhere near finished.

This game is perfect for a Christmas party for adults, with friends or coworkers.

Christmas is coming… and this time, it may not make it!

The sleigh is waiting. The reindeer are harnessed. And not one hoof will leave the ground, because The Workshop Vault has sealed itself shut, with every bit of Christmas magic inside, The Reindeer Cookies included.

The Workshop Vault opens for one thing only: a deal, shaken on by the bosses and the strikers. That is why every one of you is here in The Workshop for The Strike Party.

Mrs. Claus was the one voice both sides trusted, and she was close to that deal. Now she is gone, and somebody in this room made sure of it.

So enjoy The Strike Party while you can…

Because before The Strike Party is over, three of you will be dead.

Costumed guests playing Elf Strike, a themed murder mystery party game you host at home.

HOW THE GAME WORKS

The game is a Freeplay mingle-style murder mystery, which means each guest is assigned a unique character. You’ll send out a Character Guide to every player, filled with secrets, objectives, and relationships that drive the drama.

As the night unfolds, guests mingle in character, ask questions, share clues or lies, and try to solve the 3 unfolding murders that happen during the game. At the end, everyone casts their vote for who they think the killer is, right before the dramatic final reveal.

There are no strict scripts to follow and no complex rules, so even first-timers can jump right in!
As the host, you don’t need to memorize anything or stay behind the scenes. My easy-to-follow Host Guide walks you through everything step by step. And yes, you can play along without knowing who the killer is. Or peek at the included spoilers if that’s your jam. The killer is a secret to everyone, even the killer themselves. That is what keeps the whole night spoiler-free.

“This was my first time hosting a murder mystery party and it was everything I’d hoped for! This was very easy to navigate through. My guests had such a great time! We were able to figure out the murderer. I’d definitely recommend.”

No. Everything in the kit is a PDF, so you decide how to use it. You can email the Character Guides straight to your guests and let them read on their phone, or print them if that suits your party better. The evidence is the part most hosts do print, because it goes on the table for everyone to pick up. You also get DIY tips for the evidence, so you can go all in and make it look like the real thing, or keep it simple and just print the pages. Print as much or as little as you like.

No. Every MortalCase game is a mingle game. Your guests move around the room, corner each other and trade secrets, and that only works when they are on their feet. Seat everyone at one table and the game stops before it starts.

No. Everything is digital and yours the moment you buy it. You download the files, print what you want, and nothing waits in the post.

No, I do not make custom changes to a game. But ask me anything about hosting your party and I will help you work it out. If you need more Characters than the game holds, the DIY Host Kit is built for exactly that.
